明兩作 離 大人以繼明照于四方

Brightness is doubling, this is the phenomenon of the Li hexagram. Learn from this – continue to brighten the world with your illumination.

We are now moving on to the Li Palace! I am sure that you have noticed that the structure of hexagram Li is different from the structure of most of the hexagrams I have written about thus far. As we saw with the Qian and Dui hexagrams, Li is the original hexagram of the Li palace, and its DaXiang sentence has its own special feature. If you would like to review the details on JingGua 經卦, the eight original hexagrams of BaGong 八宮 (Eight Places), please refer to my article on the Qian hexagram. Let us take a deeper look at the Li sentence structure now.
