水洊至 習坎 君子 以 常德行習教事
Water flows continuously, which is the natural phenomenon of hexagram XíKǎn 習坎. Learning from this, the enlightened being maintains constant virtue and diligently engages in teaching.

We are now moving on to the hexagram Kǎn 坎 Palace! Actually, the full name of the hexagram Kǎn 坎 is XíKǎn 習坎. I am sure that you have noticed that the sentence structure of hexagram Kǎn is different from most of the hexagrams I have written about thus far. Same as with JīngGuà 經卦, the original hexagram of a palace, Kǎn’s DaXiang sentence also has its own special feature. A hexagram with identical top and bottom trigrams is called JīngGuà, which means the Original Hexagram, they generated the Other Hexagrams of their Palaces.
